ACM number register

What it is

The Dutch regulator publishes every number range it has assigned, every range in its cooling-off period and every blocked range, with the holder of each. Holders include companies, sole traders and private individuals.

What the copy installed here holds

Counts only. Holders are counted, never named, and no row of the table is republished here: the publisher’s own files are linked below. A version marked “retrieved on” is the day the file was fetched, because the file itself carries no date.

How the rows read, and what a number outside them answers

Toegekend (assigned) reads as allocated; Afkoelen (cooling off) as unassigned; Geblokkeerd (blocked) as reserved. Signalling codes, network codes and short numbers (rows under eight digits) are not read.

Complete for geographic numbers: while the copy installed here is under 45 days old, a geographic number outside every listed block answers unassigned_block.

Mobile and VoIP ranges are listed too, but a mobile or VoIP number outside them is left unanswered rather than called unassigned.

The register is listed on data.overheid.nl, the Dutch government’s open data portal, as “Register van toegekende telefoonnummers” under CC0 1.0.

What the table cannot say

• A regulator’s table records the original allocation of each block, never who serves a number today: a number ported to another carrier keeps its block.
• An allocated block says a number in it can be in service, not that it is.
• The counts are rows of the regulator’s own table, not numbers or traffic: a busy block and an empty one count once each.
• Many holders are sole traders or private individuals, so these pages count holders and never name them.
