Verify any address to see the full API response, straight from the live service.

What gets checked

Every check runs the same pipeline as the Spaw API: the address is parsed against RFC 5322 syntax, the domain's MX records are resolved live (including the null-MX and implicit A-record rules), and the domain is matched against open disposable-provider and role-account lists. Domains that fail the mail-server check get a "did you mean" suggestion for common typos like gmail.con.

Reading the verdict

Three verdicts, each with a machine-readable reason: deliverable means nothing argues against sending; risky means mail may arrive but the address deserves caution — disposable domain, role inbox, catch-all server; undeliverable means do not send — invalid syntax, no mail server, or a confirmed missing mailbox. Unknowns are reported honestly as unknowns, never guessed.

Frequently asked questions

Do you send an email to the address I check?

Never. The checks are syntax parsing, live DNS and MX queries, and open domain lists. The mailbox-level check the full API adds is an SMTP handshake that ends before any message is transmitted — nothing ever lands in an inbox or a spam folder.

What does a "risky" verdict mean?

Mail may arrive, but something argues for caution: the domain is a disposable provider, the address is a role inbox like info@ or support@, or the server is a catch-all that accepts everything. The reason field always says which.

Is there a limit on this free checker?

Ten checks a minute per visitor, and repeated checks of the same address are answered from a short cache. For volume — batch, bulk lists up to 100,000, webhooks — create a free API key with 10 lookups a month included.

Data synced on 2026-10-12: the newest sync of the open lists and curated maps behind every answer on this page. The domain's own records are read live at each check.

Wrong result, or is it about you? If this tool said something you think is wrong, tell us and a person reads it. If Spaw is holding data about you and you never signed up here — a customer may have had your address verified, or reported that a message to it bounced — erase it yourself, confirmed by mail to that address and with no account needed.
