# Pricing

Spaw bills per answer. A lookup that comes back deliverable or risky costs 1 credit; undeliverable verdicts, invalid input, repeats within 7 days, and rejected requests cost nothing. Every account receives 10 free credits at the start of each month with no card on file, and unused credits accumulate.

Batch, bulk, the dashboard, the form widget, and the MCP server all follow the same per-answer rule. A balance of zero answers a typed 402 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS before any work runs.

## Credit packs and monthly plans

Every tier is sold two ways: as a pack, paid once, or as a monthly plan that deposits the same credits at the start of every billing month for a lower price. Both are bought through Stripe Checkout from the dashboard's Billing page, both land in the same balance, and credits from either never expire. A plan can be cancelled at any time from the Billing page; the credits already deposited stay.

Moving to a bigger plan is charged today, deposits its credits at once, and restarts the monthly cycle from that day. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the next renewal. Cancelling stops future charges at the end of the paid month; nothing already deposited is taken back.

## Questions

**Do credits expire?** No. Purchased, subscribed and free credits stay on the balance until they are spent.

**What happens at zero balance?** The API answers 402 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS before the lookup runs, so nothing is billed behind your back.

**Is there a subscription?** Optional. A monthly plan deposits its credits every month at a lower price per lookup than the pack of the same size, and can be cancelled at any time. Packs stay one-time purchases, and the monthly free grant needs no card.

**Do batch and bulk cost differently?** No. Every channel bills the same 1 credit per answered lookup.
