A street suggestion is the street a national register most likely meant when the one written on an address is not listed in its postcode but a close spelling is: Banhofstrasse against Bahnhofstrasse, Limatquai against Limmatquai.

## What Spaw answers

`street_suggestion` carries the register's own spelling of the closest street, and `null` when the written street was found, when nothing in the postcode is close enough, or when no street listing is installed for the register. It is answered only when the address could be followed no further than its postcode — a register that found the street has nothing to suggest — and the comparison runs over the streets of that one postcode, never across a country. The same listing answers `GET /api/v1/address/streets`, which lists every street a register holds under a postcode.

## What it is not

It is not a correction the answer applied. The address is measured as written, `street` echoes what was sent, and the suggestion is a separate field for the caller to accept or ignore; the confirmation map still reads `unconfirmed` for the street until it is.
