A registered agent address is the published office of a company-formation or registered-agent service: an address that thousands of companies name as their registered office because the agent receives their legal post there, not because any of them occupies the building.

## What Spaw answers

The bundled list of agents' addresses is consulted for every street address. Each entry is an address the agent publishes as its own, or one that a state listing or filing, or a Companies House filing, naming the service carries, and the list records which. A match answers `is_mail_drop: true`, `mail_drop_source: registered_agent` and `mail_drop_provider` set to the agent's name, and the risk score carries the `mail_drop` weight of +50, exactly as an operator's mailbox branch does. Where an operator's branch list and the agent list both know an address, `operator_list` is reported; the company-register cluster (`company_cluster`) is reported only when neither list does, so the answer names the most specific fact it holds.

## What it is a fact about

A place. A company registered at an agent's address has done something ordinary, and the answer never says otherwise; what the field says is that the address is the agent's, which is what a proof-of-address check needs to know before it treats the address as somebody's home. The list ships with the app and names its sources, and the agent's name is published because it is a fact about the agent's own business.
