# `entity_country_differs_from_address_country`: the company is registered in one country and the address is in another

The register the business identifier was found in is a register of one country, and the postal address stands in a different one.

- Appears in: `flag`
- Billing: Free. The consistency analysis is arithmetic over answers already paid for and never costs a credit of its own.

Both facts are ordinary on their own. A company registered in one country and trading from an office, a branch or an agent in another is routine, and so is a holding company abroad.

The comparison is between `country` on the business block, which is the country of registration, and `country` on the address block, which is the country the address was checked against. Neither is a guess, and neither is where a person lives.

**What to do.** Read it as what it is: the place of registration is not the place of business. It matters when you expected a domestic counterparty.
