# Phone intelligence: block data, flags and a risk score

POST /api/v1/phone now reads the regulators' allocation tables, flags fictional, virtual and disposable numbers, scores them, and comes with batch, bulk, browser and test-number support. The product page is live.

- `POST /api/v1/phone` answers 33 fields: the E.164, national, international and `tel:` forms, the country's facts, `line_type` and `carrier` each with the source that settled it, the regulator's `block_status`, the `is_fictional`, `is_virtual` and `is_disposable` flags with the date a disposable listing was last seen, a recomputable `risk_score` with its `risk_signals`, and the fields of the live carrier-network check, which answers `hlr_checked: false` until a partner is configured. The full guide is at `/docs/phone-intelligence`.
- Block data comes from NANPA's central office code report for the United States and its territories, the Canadian Numbering Administrator's table, and Ofcom's National Numbering Scheme for the UK and the Crown dependencies, synced weekly: a geographic number in a block nobody holds answers `valid: false` with reason `unassigned_block`, free, and a wireless or wholesaler block holder settles the North American `fixed_line_or_mobile`.
- Three new reasons, each with its reference page: `unassigned_block`, `emergency_number` and `short_number`. Invalid numbers stay free.
- Seven test numbers, +1 202 555 0100 to 0106, answer fixed results at no cost and leave no repeat marker, so integration tests never spend credits.
- `POST /api/v1/phone/batch` takes up to 1,000 numbers, `POST /api/v1/phone/bulk` up to 100,000 with a signed webhook and CSV variants, and each item may carry its own country. `POST /api/v1/phone/public` and the `data-spaw-phone` attribute of the form helper validate numbers from a page with a publishable key.
- The MCP server gained `verify-phone`; the n8n, Zapier, Make and Google Sheets connectors gained a phone operation; the Python, Node and PHP SDKs are at 0.4.0 with phone batch and bulk methods.
- The footer credits Ofcom (Open Government Licence v3.0) and the open disposable-number list (MIT), as the licences ask, and the status page lists every phone dataset with its sync date.
