# IP intelligence is live

The IP product leaves coming soon: one credit per answered lookup on the same key and balance, a guest demo, a public status page, and a weekly measured-accuracy report on the product page.

Date: 2026-09-04

- `POST /api/v1/ip` and its GET, batch, bulk and browser forms are now a launched product: 1 credit per fresh answered lookup, reserved ranges and 7-day repeats free, 10 free credits a month on every account.
- The product page runs a guest demo against the live service and publishes a measured-accuracy report: every week we sample the ranges whose operators publish a location and report how often the database agrees, per feed, plus what the named VPN lists add over the aggregate open list.
- A public status page at `/status` (and `GET /api/v1/status/data` for monitors) reports the sync date of every dataset and measured API latency.
- The footer credits DB-IP Lite (CC BY 4.0) for IP geolocation, as the licence requires.
